In Yeşiltepe's works, the focus is on creating multiple narratives through ceramic material, and expanding the boundaries of the material through space, form, texture, and depth. Sometimes applied with a conscious, sometimes experimental attitude, the contrasts contribute to forming a complementary whole within the series, while at other times, they are expressed with independent, simple pieces.

KÖK

The kök vases series, which takes its name from the unity of form and texture, is inspired by Anish Kapoor's work Cloud Gate. The bond that the stainless steel used by Kapoor in his work creates with the audience and the formal character it creates under the influence of the material is a process that exists when the artist questions these relationships with the dynamics of the ceramic itself. Essentially, what is desired is to grasp and reinterpret reality within the experimentality of traditional materials, without losing its essence.
